Membership dues of the FORX Amateur Radio Club are used to support the activities of the club.  The major activities are Field Day and the Hamfest.  Other expenses include the maintenance of the 146.34/94 repeater and postage for the monthly newsletter the 'Feedline'

Mail the completed form to the address on the form, or give to any club officer.

American Radio Relay League

The ARRL is the national association for Amateur Radio.  The League publishes a monthly magazine 'QST' that contains construction articles, product reviews as well as issues dealing with current regulations.
If you join the ARRL through the club, the club will receive a portion of the registration.

If joining through the club, give the form to any club officer

Amateur Radio Emergency Services
The primary function of ARES is to provide emergency communications for local government officials.
The Grand Forks ARES works closely with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks during severe weather events.

Mail the completed form to the club address, or give to any club officer.

The FORX ARC has been conducting a Monday Night Net on the 146.34/94 machine for over 27 years.  It is a great place to make that first contact if you are newly licensed or have recently moved into the area.  The net also announces any upcoming activities as well as provides training in net control.  Everyone is welcome to be the net control, just follow the script.
